Description

This drama took place in my backyard this afternoon. The Cooper’s Hawk has gotten very comfortable here… almost too comfortable! The first is him/her perched on the tree just outside my kitchen door. Then about an hour later the following. I was able to get within ten feet of him/her as it fed. I guess all creatures have to eat. Sometimes I feel bad that I am providing its “dinner table”.
