Description
Flocking with other females this bird posed in just the right light to show her peach colored throat. She was spotted in a habitat which includes wetlands, and typically has great nesting opportunities nearby. My sightings of other females have never had lighting on the throat like this one. The weather was cold and breezy, but in our state, that is modestly around 40 degrees F!
