Description
As the day was waning, this Barred Owl appeared in the field just behind our home. It first sat on an alder bush and they flew up to the top of our shed where it stayed for quite a while, possibly looking for dinner from the higher vantage point. The area of the photo is one of wetlands, abutting the Atlantic Ocean.
