The sun was setting and on this lake was this magnificent sight of snow geese taking a flight break. Up toward the front of the picture you can see some of them perfectly posed in a “zig zag” manner that allowed more geese to fit on this limited body of water. Some were flying up above, and further back you can see that a few are spreading their wings. It was a captivating and most beautiful sight to behold.

Species: Snow Goose
Look at the formation, even on water! It's amazing to see the "zig zag" pattern like fitting puzzle pieces as these snow geese take a break on the water in the sunset.
