Year two of American Goldfinches coming to my feeders with eye disease. I clean CONSTANTLY. I should have taken stock in bleach. I capture the ones I can and send to rehabber. We do not re-release in same area to avoid them getting reinfected. This is the fourth one this season. Just took down feeders. Spread some seed evenly on the ground (snow) for now.
