Noticed female cardinal looked to be missing an eye. She didn’t stick around long enough to get a photo. Watched for her today to determine whether she had lost an eye or had conjunctivitis. I’m not certain she is infected. Right eye nearly closed. Left eye is fine. Feathers on right side of head around the eye are matted and crusty from goop.
