This ‘puffed up’ Goldfinch was able to fly, but didn’t unless really crowded…..I couldn’t see any injuries or eye issues. He was here all day one day, then I haven’t seen him since. The one with the injured eye I only noticed when I was zooming in on the other one….. not sure how that would have happened unless the Cooper’s Hawk ‘missed’.
