Description

I posted the attached picture of a Blue Jay eating at my feeder. I commenter remarked:

The Blue Jay’s feet, especially its right one, are swollen in a way that resembles infection by a mite called Knemidocoptes.

I don’t know if this is true or not but I thought you might find it of interest.
