This American Goldfinch was at my backyard pond. It was obviously having difficulty breathing. It was “foaming’ at the beak. It stayed there even when I got quite close, as if it was unaware of my presence. I did not see the bird again after this day. It possibly had wet avian pox

This American Goldfinch had a respiratory disease, possibly wet avian pox.
