Description
Since October, 17′, I have been fortunate to have a Red-Breasted Nuthatch frequenting my birdfeeders, but mostly my various suet feeders. It likes the open suet that I have out for the Eastern Bluebirds and other birds that love suet but are not so adept at hanging from the wire suet feeders. This photo is the Nuthatch sitting atop the suet that is propped up in a container on the back deck. It keeps an eye out and eats, then flies off, only to fly back in a few minutes. Its been a pleasure and a honor to have this beautiful little visitor in my yard this winter. the birds love the Peanut Butter suet.
