Description

I am actually not 100% sure what kind of Sandpiper this is. My best guess is it’s a juvenile White-Rumped Sandpiper. It was feeding in a puddle beside a manure pile for three days this passed mid October. It never flew away from me, but rather just quickly walked. It was clearly eating bugs on the surface of the puddle. I think it just stopped in for a rest and bite to eat and then was on its way again. I will be sure to keep my eye out this fall for it again!
