Description
On a trip to the Galapagos, we took a side trip to the Mindo Cloud Forest in Ecuador. We saw this beautiful blue bird that I have never seen back home, so I immediately pulled out my bird books and found out that it was a blue-gray tanager. They love fruit and the cloud forest visitor center hangs these bananas out for the birds every day for a sweet treat 🙂 It was a sweet treat for me to see!
