Description
I was able to watch this fledgling since the very start. We watched the mother weave dried ornamental grass and other odd pieces of paper into a nest that was only four feet off the ground in a cedar. I put a cage around the cedar to keep the cat away. There were only two eggs laid, one of which survived and grew into this little beauty.

This particular photo is extremely well done and to catch the birds with this interaction is priceless.
