Description
As I watched from our kitchen window, an American Robin kept jumping from the ground to snatch a bite of food from the feeder hanging on a Shepherd’s Hook. My camera was there on my kitchen table, since I often photograph birds from this window. Fortunately the bird continued to jump for his food as I captured a number of shots. This one with a morsel of food in his mouth and wings extended was priceless.
This was the first and only time I have seen a Robin act like this.
