Description

This photograph was taken this past spring in New London, CT, at the Connecticut College Arboretum, a beautiful area that attracts many birds. I was strolling the grounds and happened to turn around to see this bright red Northern Cardinal sitting so nicely on a very pink redbud tree. The contrast of the colors was striking. I think he was just waiting to have his picture taken.
