Description

This adorable fledgling Downy Woodpecker showed up on my deck one afternoon and began exploring. the deck is right outside of my kitchen dining area so it’s easy for me to watch the birds that show up here and there are quite a few. I didn’t know what it was at first. Soon I would learn when one of the parents showed up to feed it after it began squawking. It was so fun to watch as it explored everything with eyes like a child. God’s creation is so marvelous!
