Description
I made a new bird feeder out of a dried up gourd, cut it in half and made a few adjustments and hung it near my window so I can see the birds a little closer. With all the snow we’ve been having it has become quite a busy feeder.
This pic is a good close up look at the female Northern Cardinal munching on a black sunflower seed. The beautiful colorful feathers on its head and mid body on down shows off well. You don’t always realize the intricate feather colors the female has.
