Description
My birdfeeders are outside my front picture window where I can see them . Happened to glance up when I saw movement on the suet feeder and was surprised to see a Pileated Woodpecker on the feeder. I live in a subdivision and really don’t have the wooded areas near my home where these birds inhabit so it was an total surprise. I have the more common woodpeckers on my feeders frequently. but to see a Pileated Woodpecker that close was exciting.
