Description
This particular photo was taken just prior to this black-throated green warbler’s dip in the slow-moving waterfall of our backyard pond. Hand-dug and built by my husband, this pond is frequented by many birds. This warbler enjoyed a quick splash in the water, followed by some fun hopping around in the shorter Japanese maple directly adjacent to the pond. My husband strives to create backyard environments that support the well-being and comfort of all wildlife. My new-found love for birding simply gave him another reason to enhance this pond feature.
