Description

This young Red-tailed Hawk hung around the barn lot for several days in August 2011, hunting from a large oak tree. It became so tame I could walk right up to it. Not sure if it was too unskilled to hunt and starved or if was attacked by local adult Red-tailed Hawks, but for some reason it became unable to fly and soon died.
