Description

I have two bird feeding stations set up, and hungry hawks often swoop in for a meal of one of the birds at the stations. While no one likes to view this, it is quite natural behavior for this Cooper’s Hawk, and every animal has to eat to survive. What was really amazing was watching the hawk attempt to get at the birds in the shrub that is directly behind it. When one bird attempted to find a safer spot by exiting, it was quickly grabbed for a meal.
