Description

On a cloudy day in late March 2017, a number of large raptors were flying unusually close to the main trail at Boundary Bay Regional Park, but this youngster–some 20-30 feet away, and on a seeming approach for me–was exceptional. Until I photographed this 2nd/3rd year Bald Eagle, I never knew that sub-adults had “white eyebrows”!
