My daily Ruby-throated Hummingbird visitor landed on the shepherd’s hook and began grooming. I was able to capture this moment. I love the little foot that looks like a hand!

Beautiful shot! I have seen hummingbirds doing this, but my eyes never allowed me such a detailed view.
Congrats! I had a female this year who seemed to tolerate my presence. That is the best when trying to interact with nature…when it seems you are somehow tolerated; or is it they just ignore us?
