Description
The blue jays are constant visitors…and they each have a distinctive personality. Some are timid, others are very aggressive. Some take one small peanut and go away with that…others take as much as they can fit in their crop and beak…sometimes losing something in order to make room for more. I love to watch them weighing and measuring in order to get the biggest and meatiest peanut! They seem to prefer the peanuts in shells, but when those are all gone, they take unshelled peanuts and sunflower seeds too. And they are always ready for more!
