Description
As the storm raged, NC standard of raged, a lone red-bellied woodpecker, is engaged in an epic struggle with a group of starlings for momentary control of the suet block. the battle lasted for almost ten minutes. the woodpecker held off four starlings. fianlly he got a few clean pokes at the suet and flew away. i’m happy to report that there were no injuries other than the starlings egos! lol.
