Description
The white winged doves are so common in our backyard, and so aggressive at the birdfeeder, that my husband calls them “flying piggies.” However, on this particular chilly morning, I happened to catch this one quietly perching alone on the fence, his feathers puffed out against the cold morning air. The morning light illuminated his features beautifully.
