Description
The smaller songbirds, like Carolina Chickadee and Hybrid Titmouse, simply land on the feeder bell; but, a bird the size of a Woodhouse’s Scrub Jay is too big to land on the bell and feed on it. Thus, this jay learned how to flutter next to be bell and snatch tasty seeds.
