Description

This is the woodpecker we nickname “Wrecking Ball” because if there is any destructive activity going on, he is usually behind it. When Wrecking Ball is not emptying the sunflower feeders by throwing all the seeds to the ground, or improving the bluebird house by enlarging the entrance hole or instructing Wrecking Ball Jr in how to hammer on the side of the house, he (or in this case she) likes to relax with a bit of suet – in this case a peanut butter/lard concoction made by me.
