Description
I live in Eastern Washington and we have been covered with white for a while. When I heard the theme, “A Splash of Yellow”, I knew it had to be an American Goldfinch. I’ve lived on Blewett Pass for 19 years and we had our first Goldfinches show up this winter, including 2 very colorful breeding males. They are like a little ray of compact sunshine. I was taking photos of some other birds on the feeder when he dropped in to check me out.
