Description

On a gorgeous day laden with bright blue sky in late October I noticed a lot of activity flitting around my backyard. As I checked to see what was going on I saw dozens and dozens of yellow birds jumping around in my trees. I grabbed my camera and started taking pictures. Once back inside I had to quickly download my pictures so I could figure out what type of bird this was. Turns out this was a migrating flock of Cape May Warblers. They stayed around for a few days cleaning out the trees of all the bugs that had been left behind in the spiderwebs. At least that is what I think they were eating as I have a few pictures of them pulling on spiderwebs. I hope they migrate through the same route this year as they were a real treat to see and photograph.
