Description
This Barn Swallow was swooping above the pond of the Mass Audubon’s Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary with its mate, flying low over the boardwalk that crosses it. It seemed to enjoy “buzzing” my head as close as possible, while I was going crazy trying to photograph it. Eventually, it came to rest on the metal banister of the boardwalk and became interested in its own reflection on the polished surface, allowing me to get quite close for this shot.
