Description

For the past several years I’ve visited this spot in late May where there are at least a dozen Great Blue Heron nests, most with multiple offspring. It is quite a sight to behold.

Someday I’ll Be Big Like Daddy!

With the similarity of pose and direction of gaze of these 2, I can't help but think that Junior wants to be just like his Daddy. Stretching his neck upward to make himself tall looking forward to the day when he will fly from the nest for the 1st time.
