Description
I was watching a nesting site of black skimmers as they tended to their young new families and tried (sometimes in vain) to protect their chicks from crows and seagulls. I saw this one bird rose above the others with something in its beak and
I took a quick shot to identify what it had. I quickly reviewed my photo and when Iooked back the pair were gone. I will never know what became of this sweet little face.
