On 23 April 2017, I observed a Red-Headed Woodpecker on my suet feeder – upon closer observation, I thought it had a feather stuck in its beak as it had just ‘pecked at’ a Grackle on the tray feeder. But when I got out my camera with the zoom lens, I realized it was a deformed beak. I submitted the photos to the USGS Alaska Science Center Report ID #62546 also.
